You all know of it. Windows internet tools>conect advisor. Every1 has it disabled. Except me. And it wont turn off! I have disabled it 100's of times but with every new explorer window i open it switches back on and wont display the page till i turn it off. After switching it off and restarting my computer 100x i come to u guys and gals for help. I recently installed terrapin ftp. Who knows if that has anything to do with it.

Help me out!

I think this post is in a wrong section.

But try this.

1st. Search for a file call "ratings.pol" and delete it.
2nd. click START then choose RUN.
3rd. Type in "regedit" with out quote and click OK.
4th. choose REGISTRY and select Backup registry.
save it on to you C: drive and pick a name that you could
remember.
5th. click on the plus for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
click plus on Software
click plus on Microsoft
click plus on Windows
click plus on CurrentVersion
click plus on Policies
then delete Ratings key.
6th. close every thing out and restart computer.
then try again.

Good luck.

I see you got the problem solved, but you might want to use Opera (opera.com) instead of IE. It's sooooooo much better (and free too).
