ok, so last night, i decided to play with my OC...and i was very quickly and easily able to stabilize a 4.5ghz OC at 1.48v...only problem was that it was running at 74degrees full load, so today, i wanna buy a WC system :O dont wanna dump a bunch of money into a multi-loop setup, just want a good CPU block/rad...

so i quickly looked over newegg and found these 2 kits..

the Swiftech system looks like it would be the one i would go with...BUT i was wondering other peoples opinions/experiences with them

If you get any kit, the swiftech would be the better out of the two. Stay away from Thermaltake water-cooling kits. (I'm not a fan of them if you can't tell.) I would personally build a custom kit, but the swiftech kit should be okay. I prefer a separate pump, rather than the pump-on-block unit that they're using, but if space is a concern you might want to go with it.

-just my 2c :)

I have an older version of the Swiftech H2O-220 APEX kit (original Apogee block), and I've been very happy with it. Invest in a good system & you'll be able to use it for many years. There might be better deals than microcenter, just posted the link for reference.

Definitely no to the Thermaltake kit. Preferrably no to the Swiftech kit. If you must go kit, go with this Swiftech kit (http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/swh2edukit.html). It's basically decent individual parts thrown in a box together. Alternatively, you could always build your own kit.

EDIT - Previous poster and I were typing at the same time. The linked kit from Sidewinder is $20 cheaper than Mircocenter, but they are out of stock. Jab-Tech's is $15 less (http://jab-tech.com/Swiftech-H20-22-Apex-Ultima-Liquid-Cooling-Kit-pr-4324.html) but out of stock.

thermaltake is garbage :)

go with the APEX ULTIMA kit IF you are set on a kit. otherwise buy separate parts.
