was just sat here looking through the forum and my screen went off it didn't lose power just lost signal ........ I moved the leads around checked seating of gfx card and then powered monitor on off and it came back on ..... anyone know any reason this might happen ? :)

hmm, very strange. Did you wait it out? Sometimes the driver fails, and Vista automatically restarts it after a few seconds.

not running vista and wittled it down to powering on off perhaps a heat thing did seem unusually warm at the time \o/

yeah but its under virtually no load if all you were doing was viewing forums.
