I'm not too informed when it comes to what to look for in speakers, but I've been shopping around and seeing what's available. Do the majority of speakers come with the capability of being wall mounted? I don't have too much room on my desk, and was thinking of mounting them. Any suggestions?

yep were theres a will theres a way (brakcets from the speaker co, shelves, 3rd party mountings)

If there is nothing from speaker hight down to floor then a stnand and speaker occupie the same foot print (area anyhow)

but if your that cramped in said room then the other methods will work a treat.

unless your after some serious high end tackle though... im lost on products and with my geographical bag.

you should be able to find out the options for any half decent budget speaker before you buy.

I know the B&W range have a braket that takes a ball joint... problem is they dont sell that bit in the UK.... nice!

small speakers benefit from the wall in terms of Low frequency perfomance but you lose on imagery.

I would have liked to get 5.1 surround sound but unfortunately my budget is rather small. These are the most promising 2.1 I've run across so far
