9800GT to a 4870?

I recently upgraded to a 9800GT but im not to happy with the OC ing ive been getting anyway the chance has come up for me to buy a cheap 4870 and I was wondering would this be a worth while upgrade?

I havent owned an ATI card in years ive mostly stuck to Nvidia.

Any help is welcome.

Yes, its an upgrade, but not mind-blowing. It definitely handles AA much much better.

Cheers man, the upgrade is really for Armed Assault even with the 9800GT it still doesnt run that well. What % of an increase might I see in buying the 4870?

yea it will be a pretty good upgrade just make sure your psu has 2 6pin connectors or 4 molex's to power the 4870
