i have been out of the loop
for a while, so the last i remember is the Nvidia GTS 8800 320 was new when i got it, i mean i ordered the first day of release

so i am looking to replace it, can you guys give me suggestions as to a much better (faster) card under $200

either Nvidia (my MB chipset) or ATI

Whoa, the 4890 already went that low?! I'd go for it over the Core216.

little OT: reading that thread on slickdeals makes me rofl @ the person who said they're building a custom rig for D3 and upgrading from a 4850 for it. (since it can be maxed out by even lower end cards anyway)
