Pretty good deal. They are normally around 100$ or so. I will be heading down to Fry's to confirm.

It's not odd at all. Most places, you'll find, sell tower speakers as singles. In a 'best' setup you would have 3 identical speakers as your LCR (left center right) trio behind a projector screen. If you were so inclined to do a setup like this, it would be difficult to buy a single extra tower for the center if they were always sold as pairs.

That then begs the question of why someone with a system fancy enough to have a projector with a tower speaker behind it would get these low end speakers.

You had to buy them in pairs. But Dumb A$$ Fry's never had more then 1-2 before they were put on sale. I hate Fry's. Then on top of it, my store did show 2, but "they said they could not find 1 of the two. :rolleyes::mad: " My guess is a dumb@$$ employee hid one to save them. Mods please close this thread. Fry's sucks!
