790i parts by EVGA are dropping like flies. 3 have left NewEgg's shop over the last 2 weeks. Only one left type available, and it's not the one I was looking at.

Have these gone EOL early? EVGA's 780i boards seem to be in good supply. Is there any way to find out? EVGA doesn't list any 780 or 790 FTW motherboards on their website anymore. Was going to order this week.

Official response was the product has NOT gone EOL yet, it's still a valid part that they are actively producing. However, the sales rep indicated that they are not making as many as they once were in favor or making more of the newest x58 parts.

NewEgg has de-activated the products until stock levels come back up. The sales guy couldn't give me any idea of when that might be, however.

Damn, now I need to decide whether to wait or go with something else.
