Howdy all, it's been a while since I been here,
Now to the nitty gritty. I have an old Iwill pata raid controler and my mobo is a Gigabyte P35C-DS3R, Q6600,2g ram (I can add 2 more gigs of ram if needed) EVGA 8600 and I have a 100gb hdd on it now, and do not want to disturb it's function e.g. a stable XP install...and want to add the raid ctrlr to add a couple of 30g hdds for Win7 evaluation.
I have a sata dvd/rw and that is the only sata device I have ATM,
and I want to dual boot XP/win7 and I have both the 32 and 64 bit versions of win7, and would like to play with both though not nessarily at the same time.
Anybody have experience with this mobo and adding another hdd controler? And will it bork my other controlers onboard the mobo?
