View Full Version : Celeron 667@1000 some problems
My problem is that when i play games in open gl my system hungs up after a few sec (except q3arena engine games), in d3d everything is stable how can i fix it
i have dets 23,11 but it happends on all drivers
is there a way to have biger voltage than mainboard supports my abit be6 gives only 1,85 maybe this is a problem
If that BE6 has the Soft Menu II BIOS, then there is a BIOS flashing trick you can do to get higher voltage settings. Do a search on how to do it, since I don't remember the exact details off-hand right now.

i found it is this the trick??
Yes, that is the BIOS flashing trick in that link you posted. Also, Rooster made a very good suggestion that I had overlooked. Set the voltage jumpers on the slotket to a slightly higher setting. That should fool your BIOS into thinking the default voltage of your CPU is higher, thus allowing you higher voltage setting options in the BIOS.
he said it was only in open gl mode that it locks up so it doesn't sound like it has anything to do with the CPU to me
well it doesn't work with voltage jumpers my mb gives always as defoult 1,65 and i thin it's somethin with cpu becourse at 833 it goes without problems on that open gl games an at 1ghz it makes trouble
