Hey dude I have seen others get a cel 500 to 1000 MHz or better. Your OC is impressive but calm down dude!

I am calm, actually I know very little about all this you all post about, but Im trying to learn. I know I just got lucky with the afore mentioned OC, and if it wouldnt've been for a couple individuals on this site, I could've fried my CPU. Besides I think my percentages are wrong anyway.
The 300 Celeron's overclocked very well.
Lots of Intel chips have overclocked well. Congrats.

Those old Celeron 266, 300, and 333 CPUs were the overclocking kings back a few years ago. Most overclock quite well. If you are a beginner, then you did real good, congrats. Watch out though, you might get hooked on overclocking and tweaking as much as some of the rest of us if you're not careful...bwahahaha.

certainly agree..i was once such a pure and good boy, only work and basketball, and now look me...using up all my money just for some stupid computer parts, so i will go hungry for the rest of the month..:D but no regret!

Overclocking - the biggest virus on the computer market. Symptoms may include obsessive spending on the latest computer parts, putting abnormal amounts of fans in your case, use of extreme chemicals to "cool" the computer, and worst of all, a constant need to make it go faster, no matter how much it bleeds (although we feel bad when it dies, kind of an oxymoron).
Cheers:beer:
I feel bad when it dies because I have to replace it (spend money), but then celebrate the expendature of more funds to acquire newer or faster replacement component(s)... :p

I did a 50% overclock with a cel-t 1.2GHz to 1.84GHz with dryice. I am going to bet these new 1.3GHz cel-t's will go further.
