8800 GTS vs my 9600gt?

Just curious i got a offer to buy a 8800 GTS (not sure which verison) my system specs are in my sig. Would it increase my game performance? Just curious if it would be worth it for me to pick this up off a friend or not? Looks to be twice as fast as my card, just wondering if the rest of my system is to under dog to keep up?

8800GTS 512mb? 8800GTS 640MB? 8800GTS 320MB?

If its the 8800gts 512mb and its a good price (100 bucks or less) buy it

if its the older G80 8800gts 640/320mb's and its 60 or less u might consider it but meh.
