I have 4 80mm fans running with 37 Cfm each, and a volcano 7 running at max speed.
Abit KR7A non raid
1700 xp
Home Xp
I have 2 sticks of 2100 crucial 256mb
A Maxtor 40gig 7200 drive
Linksys Nic card
Enermax 350 wat psu
Old Turtle beach sound card (maybe holding me back)
36C idle, 41C load, system is 23C
Im running stable at 150fsb x11, but i cant go any higher without getting Blue screens and restarts.
Anyone else able to go higher with a smiliar cooling setup? I have no intentions of tryin to unlock it. I may be willing to get faster fans though. Is that what you did?

I think any XP is stuck at 150mhz FSB with no un-locking. I have done a 1900 and a 2000 in the past 2 days and both were stuck there. Get the tools out and un-lock. I will soon.

I am running 10.5*162 on my Xp1600 air cooled... weew bit hot.. But hey, it beats an AMD cooler...
I have got my system to run STABLE at 166mhz * 10.5 but the temperatures were WAY too high.. 60'c load, so I pulled it back to 1701.

In my expierience, your NIC is the #1 culprit of limiting your max FSB settings. One of my computers won't go above 143. My other computer will hit 160 no problem. Your FSB settings have a lot to do with your overall components. And your NIC is going to mess things up for everybody. Not always, but usually it is the one or one of the ones.
