Have a Biostar Tpower I45 and the led displays 'FF' and it stops there.. what does that code mean???
 
Have you tried clearing the cmos? Remove all the parts but leave the cpu & sink and the video card. Try booting up with just those parts and see.

If you get the FF code again right off the start, then the mobo is damaged and needs to be RMA-ed.
 
Make sure it was the CLR CMOS jumper you moved, and not the jumper which applies standby voltage to the USB ports (JUSBV2). Also make sure the CMOS jumper isn't in the RESET position (pins 2 and 3) when trying to POST, as the jumper needs to be on pins 1 and 2 for normal operation. The CMOS jumper (JCMOS1) is just above the SATA1 ports, at the RH edge of the board.
