I bought an OEM radeon from newegg, the supposed 230mhz ones. But after using powerstrip I got it to work at 250/250 with the stock cooling, so I think it is the regualr OEM. I checked the ram and I have the 3.6ns ram, but when I checked the bios. The bios part number is 113-85707-100. Why is it 100 not 102 or 103??

Thanks

Nice deal, you were luckier than many people that bought the Oem 8500 from Newegg....Now just download Powerstrip and see if your resistors are crippled, or your lucky like me to have bought an OEM thats really a retail with an OEM bios.

I tried powerstrip. I can only get it to 250/250 before it starts acting up on me. Like if i run 3dmark it'll have little boxes popping up.

My OEM 250/250 was able to get to 275/275 with stock cooling. What is all this talk about a BIOS change?
