i7-920 $229 at Frys B&M

Just dropped in at Frys here in Houston and they are selling their 920's also at $229 , same as Microcenter.
Only had 3 left, all C0's unfortunately, the new stock should be D0's though.

Definitely sounds a little YMMV, but also definitely worth checking out. I've got two Frys about 20 min from me in opposite directions, so maybe I'll spend a little time driving around town today.

Fry's in San Marcos, CA had them marked at $290. Too bad. Hopefully I'll have better luck at Aero Drive.

Yeah but Fry's is waay closer to me. I may find my way up to LA sometime soon anyway, though, so if I do I'll definitely be picking one up... If the Aero Drive Fry's doesn't have any, anyway.

Depends upon what they get from their distributor - at least with Fry's you get to see the box :)
