CPU Prices have DROPPED

is it just me or does anyone else find it odd that virtually all of AMD'S Athlon XPs have dropped $20 on average, while many of the others (TBird, Duron, PIII, PIV) have dropped at least $10??? Yesterday, the Athlon XP 1800 was going for $145 at compubuzz.com, now it's just a paltry $126!!! The Athlon Thunderbird 1.4/266 was going for $97 yesterday and now it's at $87 (again at compubuzz.com, but other places have dropped their prices by the same amount as well)


Does anybody know what gives? Did AMD or Intel say/release something I'm not aware of???
