You'll need to do some benchmark there.....SETI really likes higher FSB (specailly if you manage to get 162 with 2-2-2 settings).....but with such a high difference in processor speed (1.7 to 1.8) maybe you'll be running faster at 133 MHz.....Why don't you do the benchmark WU to check?

I agree.
This way you will know for sure. It would be a very interesting benchmark. ;)
lol i just decided to keep it at 1.7 lol it just got toooo cold in my room with my radiator in my window hehe and the 1.85ghz just wasent stable with the normal temps i get with my rad setting next to my comp

You can try using a peltier to decrease your temperatures.....or phase change if you are insane enough :)
BTW, do you run 24/7 with your watercooling or just when you are near the PC?
i keep my comp on 24/7 and as for a peltier... my water cooling setup wont work with one... at least not with what i have right now but i do plan on upgradeing it later on. would a peltier give me temps lower then 30C... thats about what temp things started acting up at

You might get well below that one with a peltier. But if you want to use a TEC with your watercooling you will be needing at least a 172 W peltier as the Athlons generates lots of heat.....
You might need also a dedicated PSU to run the TEC, so you can deliver constant 12 V and a bigger radiator to release all that heat to the outside air. Done with a good pump you might even get near 10°C while crunching :)
wow lol if i get temps that low and then also add in a volt mod... heck i might be able to get near 2ghz

If you want to do a voltage mod and try to put that more juice at your XP, you should check the front page article (http://www.overclockers.com/tips800/) about taming a Thunderbird using dual 172 W pelts.....with that kind of setting you could get it to some subzero temperatures just to keep that XP in check :)
You'll be :burn: with an XP at 2000 MHz (and not just Quantispeed, but real MHz) :)
for now i have to stick with 1.7ghz because i have no money to get anything right now even enough to get the stuff to unlock this baby but the potential of this chip is just amazing lol
btw i took some snap shots of my benchmarks at 1.85ghz anyone want to see them :)
Yes....
Quit teasing us!
