Ok here it goes...

30mm 36watt Peltier
from cool-computers.com

http://www.cool-computers.com/site/default.asp?dir=1%2EOnline+Store&subcat=Peltiers&doc=Peltiers%2Ehtm

Alpha PAL15U

http://www.plycon.com/anpal15.htm

Delta 60mm SLIM Fan (21.9cfm / 36.5db)

http://www.plycon.com/deltslim.htm

Basiclly obvious... use the slim delta in place of the alpha heatsink's fan and use that to cool the 36watt peltier.. can this be done? if not what can make this work, and if this does work what do i need in terms of condensation prevention? ..and again if it cannot be done whats a good alternative... i think its a perfect idea if can work it would definitly save ALOT of space.

This of course would be cooling a GPU, Radeon / Geforce2/3, blah blah.. TNT2 Ultra (my fav) ...hehe

So let me know guys :D

I think it can be done, but I think its kinda expensive ($66+), you will also need a PSU to power the TEC (Unless your PSU can handle an extra ~3A).

According to my calculations (which could be wrong) the max temp of the GPU would be ~39C (assuming: Ambient=24C, GPU WATTS=30W, TEC voltage=12V, FAN=13CFM).
Some more calculations:
Ambient=24
GPU=25W
GPU temp=~31C

Ambient=24
GPU=20W
GPU temp=~27C

Ambient=24
GPU=15W
GPU temp=~22C

You also need to find a way to mount the TEC to the HS (super glue could do the trick, but I don't like that cuz if you need to get it of you could ruin the TEC and/or HS).
And you need to find a way to mount the combo to your Vcard (not much of a problem).

If you want best performance, you should use a coldplate so you can put more pressure on the TEC (TEC's like pressure), I would say a ¼ Inch coldplate would do, but then you would end up with a ~1.5+ Inch Combo.

I don't know the C/W of the PAL15U with a 22 CFM fan, but I think you should look at a 2-5C decrease.

If someone could figure out how much WATTS you need to get rid of, and the C/W of the PAL15U with 22CFM fan, I could do a more accurate calculation.

GF2s and 3s are 10-15W, GFs are 25-30W, TNT2 I'm not sure, check nvidia. Those are for stock speeds, more at higher clocking.

Thanx ButcherUK, would you be so kind and check my calculations? (you did a wonderfull job calculating my temps:D ).
The C/W of the PAL15U with 13CFM FAN=0.8.
