A bit of a nub when it comes to memory and OCing them...so I have a few questions.

1) What's the advantage of having a low voltage?

2) Can higher timings offset speed gain?

I ask because I'm interested in some upgrades for my EVGA Nforce 680I SLI LGA775 Conroe ATX DDR2 2PCI-E16 2PCI.

Price not an issue, I am looking to overclock my cpu but I'm not an enthusiast so I don't need bleeding edge.
