Could this be true? I thought DDR3 was triple channel only? I'm kind of behind on all this DDR3 triple channel stuff, so bear with me if I seem a little clueless here. Do you absolutely need triple channel memory to use an i7 chip?
My last question is, and I'm just totally grasping at straws here due to me being screwed (unemployed) by the latest economy issues, but is there a chance in hell I might be able to get a board that would support both my current processor and memory, and also support i7 and triple channel? I'd like to just upgrade one part at a time, because if I can't, it's gonna be a long wait.
