Hey everyone I have a small problem.

I have a q 6600 on a 680i sli with artic freezer 7 pro cooler.

For some reason the fan speed on the freezer 7 pro seems to be locked around 932 RPM. It doesnt matter if I increase the workload or not the fan speed says constant. What ends up happening is that the CPU starts to over-heat and the fan still spins at its low RPM

any help would be really appreciated

You can control the Fan speed with Nvidia System tool. 680I and newest can do it.

I figured out that this is the problem. The nvidia control panel locks the fan speed at a specific speed no matter what the CPU usage is. Is there any way to change this so that my fan isnt running at X speed all the time?
