I have been having random freezes while playing Fallout 3 usually about one every 2 to 3 hours and my system is currently configured per sig. At these settings It will pass 30+ hours prime 95 blend, OCCT 24 hours, LinX both small and large data set 150 passes each, and Memtest 86+ v. 2.11 for 18 passes (overnight). My question is about these results. I have a 4gb kit with 2 x 2GB modules. If the results given show no errors with both modules installed after 18 passes, then The Ram and memory subsystem is good right and the only reason to test modules individually is to isolate which module gives a error. correct me if im wrong.

Also I know it is irrelevant to a memory thread but I also ran the windows hard drive test with correct errors options checked so Im running out of options and think this might be a software issue with FO3. Also video card is overclocked but only by EVGA I have not raised clocks higher than what it came stock which is pretty fast.

Hardware wise, I think the only thing left would be furmark to check the video card. The antec signature is solid - no problem there. After that, software is the only thing left. Do you have to powerfail the pc when it locks up or is it just the game?

only the game crashes, and to update the situation the gpu locked up in furmark with temps in the 92c+ range within ten minutes of starting and I reinstalled my Old (not really that old) gtx 260 core 216 superclocked and It ran like a charm even with everything overclocked a little bit, no freeze in furmark or anything. Any when I replayed the game with the 260 I still encountered a random crash here or there. maybe it's just a software issue that will be fixed with a future driver or update to game but this is really frustrating to the point that I am thinking about returning my card to tigerdirect for a ps3 instead and keeping the old one for now.
