I just got an Koolance PC2-C and enermax 2 fan pwr supply, and I'm trying to decide if I should mount it upside down as the koolance site suggests or cut a whole in the plastic divider so the fan can inside fan on the pwr supply can do it's job properly?
Anyone have any suggestions or simialr experiences to share?
thanx
If you have the normally sized case I'd cut a hole so you can utilize that extra PSU fan. Unless you mod the side door with more fans airflow within the case is pretty minimal and the more you can squeeze through the better. I'd suggest you mod an intake in bottom front, though, otherwise the back fan and PSU really don't have anything to pump out...
Right now i have a 120mm bottom-front on the side panel, 92mm fan on the back and the outtake from cpu and I still think I could lower my internal temps quite a bit. I'm thinking about making a ducting system or adding 2 more 120mm fans (1 over CPU, other over PCI/AGP slots)

Nah, don't put it upside down. Just buy a hole saw like I did and cut a hole in that sucker. It'll lower the case temp by drawing some of that hot air out.
