Upgrade to what? [Archive] - Overclockers Forums

I currently have a very slow K6-2 350 because I sold my Duron 600 to a friend for more than what I paid for it ;) but had to use that for bills, but now that I have money should I go for a Duron 1.2Ghz or is there a new proc coming out soon?

I would personally go with a T-Bird 1-1.2 gig. They run about the same price as the new Duron's. Plus, their great overclockers!

Can ya help me a little on overclocking my 1.2 gig t-bird. im new at this and dont want to screw it up:eek:

Ask away! :) Overclocking really depends on your hardware. Oh, and having a good stepping doesn't hurt either.
