Ok I am looking to set up a dedicated World Of Warcraft server, what are the recommended hardware specs? Probably no more than about 10 people playing, max.
I do have a old P4 lying around but i wasn't sure if it would be enough power to run it (obviously i am new to server's) anyways here are the specs of the rig I am looking at dedicating.
Mobo - Asus P4B - MX
Harddrive - 40 GB Seagate Barracuda (I do have additional Harddrives i can add)
Videocard - Radeon 9800 Pro
RAM - 512 MB SDRAM Kingston
Network card - 3Com 3C90TB-TX 10/100 PCI Network card
Processor - Unfortunately all I know is that it is a Pentium 4
Anyways I am sure many of you are laughing at this and if that is the case can you give me some recommendations on what i would need to set up a dedicated World Of Warcraft server. Any and all recommendation's are much appreciated. Ahead of time thanks to all who reply, i will check religiously for comments.
