well i tried to go 133times 13 on my kk266 amd 1.4 and it wouldnt work . oh well ill stay at 1.596.
any recomendations eheh always want faster.shame i cant change my frontside bus when i go past 133 it dosent respond good programs dont open and stuff like that..what yall thinkcan i get more???
oh ya maybe cause my volt was set at 1.85?
It very well could be a heat problem. What are your system specs including heatsink and temps? It will help us help you.

i have the thermalright sk6 with delta 38.... temps were ok at 1.596... 40c idle 48 load........it wasnt that high befor i changed bios the other day........pre new bios 37 idle and 45 load

How is the airflow thru your case? What board are you using? The sensors used insocket are not that good at giving you precise temps. Have you tried to lower the multiplier to see if you can get your FSB up? What kind of ram are you using? and the 1.7 overclock most probably is not going to happen unless you are using some kind of super cooling.

im using MBM to moniter and also match up with the pc health in bios. they are the same
intake bottom of mid front
exhaust top in the rear

no i have never tried lowering my multi you think i might be able to jump up on fsb going that route. think ill gain performance doing this???

sorry man. thanks for the help on the bios it went great .
I didn't even notice the topic area I was browsing new posts. And yes try lowering the multiplier and see how high you can get your FSB just do it in small increments.
