Can I use my old Dell XPST 500 Case Again?

I am looking to re-do most of my old Dell Dimension XPS T 500 (500P3)

It is an ATX form factor in looks, except if Dell did something I dont know about. Also I will need a new power supply. (and mobo, and processor and memory, and video card. Eventually, as money allows, a faster HD)

My real quesstion is whether anyone knows if dell does something unusual with their cases to make them not exactly ATX ones.

Yep they do all kinds of crappy stuff to thier cases. From using a proprietary motherboard that will on mount in a Dell case, to cases that will only hold a Dell motherboard. Not to mention powersupplies that will only boot a dell motherboard because of a special extra connector on it.

Get a different case, their cheap now a days.
