just wondering if this drive here (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822145215) would be good for raid 0 or should i go for something else?

Nothing wrong with those drives. I had an old pair of 80GB Deskstars in a RAID 0 for years before I upgraded them.
If you got a few extra bucks lying around, the WD 640s (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136319) is a good buy. The performance increase is due to the higher platter density (2 320s vs 2 250s) and this specific model has a 32MB cache. Oh, and a 5 year warranty too.
