is there a way to run folding and seti at the same time?? i know i can actualy run them at the same time but seti always steals most of the cpu cycles and i want each to run about 50% of my cpu....

There is a way but you have to manually set the priority of folding.
I believe it is a sub thread of the core65 that you have to bump up a notch. I am not exactly sure but I know there are folders that are doing it so give it a little time and I am sure they will enlighten us. Fold on!!!

I think they fixed that subthread in the latest updates. Glad this came up because I'd be interested in finding out how well they can play together and how well the priority can be manipulated now. I noticed it while out of town heloping to set up a file server and wanted to check the client to see what that particular subthread was running at and it was at idle normal. (I think it's priority 4). I am pretty sure that seti uses the same priority.

How did you get it working so I know. Thanks in advance.

It would also be good for our FAQ.
