I got the board up and running fine, the keyboard works in the actual BIOS but when i get the "boot from disc" i cant press Y. it just sits there until the NTLDR is missing comes up and it restarts.

ive tried changing the legacy control on and off but nothing works.

Board is a GA-EP43-UD3L

Any suggestions?

Are you using a USB keyboard?
can you get into the bios setup? If you can, make sure that your USB controlers are turned on, and you enable USB keyboard support.
Of course if you are NOT using a usb kb then you might want to try another kb...they also die over time....I have been through three that died a sudden death.
Hope this helps,

I have an Abit board that has an odd BIOS setting for the keyboard. It says something like "USB Keyboard Support". The options under that setting are "BIOS" or "OS". If I don't have the "BIOS" setting selected then I can't boot from a disc.
