I am loving this 260 right now, but part of me knows I will want to step up in a while. I have some question's about it though.
1. Do they send me the upgrade, than I send them my card?
2. Are these brand new cards or are they refurb's, what do they do with my old card?
3. Do they need a recipt
4. Do they keep pretty current on prices i.e. if there is a price drop on 275's, than will it translate on step up right away
5. I bought this card for $200.00, if the price drops, does the value of my card drop?

I don't think this was answered in the FAQ, but if I remove the heatsink and put my own thermal paste on (I know the warrenty allows it), does that void my step up.

1. You send in card, they receive card, they ship out new card, you receive new card.
2. I think you get a new card, not 100% sure. The old card is probably used for future RMA replacements or sold as refurbished (Newegg calls 'em "recertified").
3. Yes.
4. Not necessarily.
5. Your card's value is the dollar amount on your receipt/invoice.
6. No.
