online gallery software

My sister just got married and has a CD full of pictures that I will be putting up on a website. The purpose of this website will be for people to view the pictures, and must also have the high quality versions of the photo linked in some fashion so that they can be saved by people for their own purposes.

I've used Gallery 2 in the past and it was alright, but I just wanted to see if anyone here had any suggestions for some good software for this purpose.

Flickr and picasaweb work well for this, and you don't have to have your own server. I run my own gallery2 server for my wife's photography business, but we also run both of those.

The reason I'm opting to just put it on my server is because I need something that will allow the high-res images to be downloaded. AFAIK, flickr and picasa won't do that.

Oh, and I like to have control :P
