Win98 Cab files (scratched CD) WIN_25

I am having a problem loading setup for logitech Quickcam. I was cleanning up files and deleted NTKERN.exe it is located (I think) in the win98 Cabfile (C:\win98\win_25).. I cannot copy because of scratched cd...this is WIN_25 can anyone help me repair this problem..I tried the microsoft website, Could not find file ? do I have to buy another 98 CD ?

I would attempt to contact microsoft, or your best bet is to attempt the following pick up a cd cleaning and scratch repair kit from best buy or the like. Repair the cd and all should be well again I have done this countless times with my cd's over the years. If that does not indeed repair it, calling microsoft should get the solution you require.
