I haven't had to buy a laptop HDD in a while but I remember www.mwave.com being the best price on laptop HDDs but like I said, it's been a while. Worth a look though.

What size are you looking for? I bought my last laptop drive for my iBook from B&H, it was a WD Scorpio 160GB IDE with free shipping and no tax. Here (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/608015-REG/Western_Digital_WD3200BEVERTL_320GB_2_5_Scorpio_Bl ue.html) is a 320GB Scorpio for $99, free shipping. Here (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/583764-REG/Western_Digital_WD2500BEVERTL_250GB_2_5_Scorpio_Bl ue.html) is a Scorpio 250GB for $79, free shipping. Both are IDE.

Hah, either Google Product Search failed me or I failed in my searching. I entirely missed that 320GB scorpio at newegg for $89 shipped. That's good, best deal on that list of newegg drives IMO.

Depends on the BIOS, older laptop would defiantly not work with 320GB. What model laptop?

If you have an ATA-6 or higher IDE controller you can handle the 320GB size.
