hi there... first i will define my pc then state my question
CPU:Q9550 @ 3.82Ghz
Cpu Cooler: Cooler Master V8
Ram: OCZ Reapers 2X2 1066
Mobo: Gigabyte UD3P
PSU: Corsair 650TX
Case: Antec 900 modded
Display: Benq E2400HD
Speakers: Creative 5.1
now here the issue.. i just purchased this LCD lately and i ordered Xbox360 Vga cable to be able to run it through my LCD as my xbox is launch console and doesn't support HDMI.
Now i wanted to hook my xbox to my pc through optical input add-on for gigabyte. but i heard it's not going to work as it only supports 2 channels meaning it's a total waste.
Now what are my options so i can do this. Connect my xbox 360 to my pc so it will decode the dolby digital 5.1 signal through the optical cable to my Creative 5.1
