I have been looking at upgrading my keyboard and trackball for a little while now. I was looking at the cordless logitech Trackball, but its design doesn't look like it will work for me.

As for my Microsoft Wireless Comfort Keyboard, it is starting to show its almost 3 year old age. Key lettering starting to fade, keys kind of crustified and not as bouncy as they used to be.

I called Microsoft, 3-7 days I will be getting a New Keyboard, upgraded to the Wireless Laser Desktop 4000. With Laser Mouse (Not that I will ever use the mouse, but its nice to have as a back up).

I called Logitech, told them the Trackball left button is starting to skip, and the ball doesn't slide like it used to. 3-7 days I will be getting a new Trackball.

Both were outstanding with no questions asked thereby increasing the lifespan of my input devices to 6 years.:attn:

I still have and use daily my Microsoft Natural keyboard. It was the first or second model they ever made. It is atleast 12 years old. I'll see if I can find a date on it when I get home today.

Grats, now if MS would just release the specs or release an upgrade trackball explorer I would be happy. My trackball is starting to drag so I am going to have to do some bearing surgery on it soon I know.

I wish Logitech would make a normal Trackball that was wireless. The current one has like 18 buttons on it and it doesn't fit my hand.

Microsoft Keyboard, arrived on the 11th. Two days, not bad. Trackball on the 13th. I forgot what it was to type and scroll on new keyboard/trackballs.
