Help - HDD Failure?

Hi,I have two hdd's which appear to be making a HORRIBLE noise sort of like a jet engine but not as loud obviously,Any ideas if its hdd failure or not? It's been running like this probably for a month or two but noticed the odd bsod about ntfs.sys .
My HDD's are :
Hitachi HDT725025VLA380
Samsung SP4002H
Not sure if it's one or both making the noise.. but i'd really like to know if it's hdd failure before it hits me in the face.. again :@,hdd's have always given me bad luck.

jet engine noise is normally a fan, not an HDD that I've ever heard. How are you sure the HDD's are the culprit?
Run manufacturer's tests on the drives.

i would check your fans first i really doubt its one of your hard drives
