How would a crystal orb work on a Radeon 8500?? Or would a different GPU cooler provide better results?

I don't think you can do any better with a standard vga/chipset cooler than you can with a crystal orb. But you can modify CPU coolers and get better results. 1U server heatsinks seem to be popular around here for GPU cooling.

Of course it all depends on how much work you want to do.

Thanks i was gonna use Artic Alumina epoxy because it seems to be the most popular/safest way to go. And was also gonna add some copper rams sinks. But i think i'll stick with the crystal orb ,because i'm not very handy when it comes to modding hardware.
