part of the fun is picking your own parts out.
How about we work half way with you.
You pick out the parts, and we'll say yay or nae?
But a few things that would help out is
1. what country are you from (helps us pick vendors for you to browse though)
2. What compoents are you going after? Cpu only? Cpu + Gpu? Cpu + Board + Gpu? (500 might be a little short on all 3).

+1
And i'll add:
Are you going for best temps or least noise?
The stickies here are full of info and parts. It shouldn't be hard to pick out some parts then research them to see if they will work for you.

Ill work with you guys. Well initially i thinking just about cpu and north bridge, possibly in the future a gpu, but as of now i have two 4870's and i don't want to bother wasting money on them as they will be replaced at some point in the future when the new performance cards trickle out over the next year. is there a happy medium between temps and noise?
i7 920
foxconn bloodrage x58 has built in northbridge pot
pc power and cooling 750 watt psu
dont know what ram yet
as far as parts was looking at swiftech
dtek fusion v2
monsta tfc 360
swiftech mcp-655 pump
those are the parts ive been eyeing need advice on tubing fittings and any of this stuff you would change?
I have the dtek v1 on a 920, and its borderline. I could get more out of the chip, but don't want the heat. If you want more then 4.4ghz, the maybe get a new block. (although the 2x radiator i'm using could be part of the problem)
Also the psu you have selected is a little loud, if you are worried about noise.
