View Full Version : I folded a few for the wrong team!
yeah, i must have been in a hurry last night when i was re-installing F@H. I just noticed it now while checking my stats. Gave up 4 wu's to team 37, they have 3 other members, they're probably wondering who i am. lol

J37X,
Besides being team 32, you need to change your name to "flounder43"... ;)

Hey.. That's not bad, at least you threw down some WU for Stanford.. This is my folly of the day: I set up my P2 266 to run Folding off a network drive, and set the local drive to shut down after 5 minutes (to decrease noise and heat the drive generates). I turned it on today without checking to see how it booted with VNC. Foldmonitor has access to the network directory so it just showed the same progress for a long time. Apparently I had disconnected the hub the P2 was on, so it had been just sitting there for like 3 or 4 hours not being to get at that network directory. Ah well..
I'm not sure the hard drive even powers down, though.. I think Win2k probably keeps it active with at least the swap file?

I just added a P2 266 myself. How long does these take to complete a WU?

Depending on the wu... a fast frame is done in about 15 mins, a slow one in about 35 mins...

My p200MMX is folding a Native Villin at 1 hour 10 min. a frame.
It completes the WU's in time as long as I let it fold 24/7.

I think it takes like 2 days to complete one of the larger WU's. I haven't been able to get a good Foldmonitor reading cause I keep turning it off.
