I d/led some fonts I wanted....
So I unziped em, went to control pannel>fonts opened the fonts folder, clicked on file and noticed that under file it no longer has the button "install new font"...
This is the first time I tryed to install a font sence I reformated, before I reformated it was there, it's like windows forgot to install it or something :P

I cant get the fonts to work, just puttin em in the fonts folder dosen't work...

I dunno, it's lame as hell, I can't install a freakin font? :eh?:

Anyone ever have this happen to them?

I feel totaly retarted askin this... lol

Copy them into the Fonts folder. Close that folder (and the whole window), reopen a new window and browse back to that folder and make sure they are still there (just find one or two you copied) and once confirmed, reboot.

Should be there and able to be used after the reboot.

I had the same problem you're having a couple years ago and that was the only method that allowed me to use new fonts with PSP until I formatted.

You might want to give this a try...

In the "Run" dialog box, in the "Open" field, type:

Attrib +S C:\Windows\Fonts

...and then click OK. The Fonts folder should now appear normally ( the "Install new Font" option should now be available).;)

BTW, You can install a maximum of approximately 1000 TrueType fonts in Win98. The exact number of TrueType fonts you can install varies, and depends on the length of the TrueType font names and file names.
