I own quite a few logitech products (pretty much all the gaming mouse they ever sold) Mx518, 2 G15's, 2 G5's, 1 G9 , and 1 G9x. Never had a problem, well today my G9 decided it was time to not work, all buttons work except the laser, i can right click, left click, change dpi but cursor doesn't move.
so i called up logitech talked to someone told them what happens, etc, etc. He goes i have 2 options, I can fax them my receipt for my g9 or i can get a shipping label to send my g9 back. i told him i will fax my receipt over. He said good it will take about 1-2 days to process and they will give me a G9x instead of g9.
That is so awesome. I Love Logitech <3
