SAPPHIRE 4870 1G CrossFire with 3DMARK Vantage iSSUS

Three weeks ago, I bought another 4870 1G to set up a Crossfire system and reinstall my VISTA with sp2. I know the performance would not increase that much. but how come i got the same result as a single card in 3DMARK vantage, that driver is 9.5 version and i am sure i enable the CF in CCC. because I got 20000 point in 3DMARK 06, before I got 15*** points with a single card.

My new rig is E8400 running @ 4.0Ghz (500 x 8), MOBO is ASUS P5Q-E, PSU is DELL OEM 1000W, I got P4400 points in 3dmark Vantage (preformance mode) when I just run in one card, but I got the same result in running Corssfire mode.

What are the seperate scores? P4400 sounds too low even for a single card, my laptop with a HD4850 mobility gets over 5k...

Here are some pic one is my 2 cards' photo, one is that 3dmark vantage result which i just ran it. the last one is to show about the gpu usage.

as u can see, both GPU usage is around 50% in 3dmark vantage, however, when i ran 3dmark06 both usage are about 80%-100%, that's strange.

Oh okay, the score is too low still as it should reach over 10,000 easily for gpu score, as my two 8800gts 512mb got over that...
Maybe try a new driver and one card at a time to see if one of them is causing an issue?

Thanks for reply, I just ran 3Dmark VANTAGE in one card, I got P90** points AS SHOWN BELOW.damn, and now I Flashed older card's bios into the newer's bios. the result is same .. what's wrong

I wonder if you have second card in a 4x slot? What happens when you switch slots?

I finally found the answer, that is RIVETUNER. I just realise I run RIVETUNER everytime once I run the 3Dmark vantage, because I want 2 see the GPU usage.so that is the problem. once i run vantage without running RIVEtuner, then I got the right result.
