I'm going to be building a clear case from lexan, but I don't know how thick the lexan should be. I know it's stronger than plexi, and about 1/4 inch lexan seems OK to support everytihing, but I'm not 100 % sure. Any suggestoins would be helpful. Thanks.

There are some guys talking about it here (http://forums.overclockers.ws/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=59323).

that helps a little but isn't really what I'm looking for. maybe i should have been more specific about the case i'm building. it's going to be about 18"w x 30" h x 24" d. I'm also going to be putting a resivoir and ps for pelts in it. I'm guessing the whole thing will probably weigh about 70 lbs (case now weighs about 30, power supply weighs about 20, plus water, pumps, rads, etc).

i would think that 0.25 would be enough. i built one that was about 7x14x12.25 and it was okay at .125 or maybe less, its really thin stuff i got for free.

i would recommend plexi over lexan because it doesn't scratch as easy and would be just as strong, for our purposes. unless you have projectiles flying at it all the time.

hope that helps a little. also, make sure you use the solvent that fuses the pieces together and not just epoxy or superglue.
