I've been out of the loop on video cards for a while. Is this video card (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125251&nm_mc=EMC-IGNEFL071709&cm_mmc=EMC-IGNEFL071709-_-VideoCards-_-L0B-_-14125251) better than my current 7800GTX OC 512mb? While I know the 7800GTX was the top of the line when it came out, that was over 3 years ago. I thought it was worth a look, but I doubt its actually better.

Ok, kinda what I figured, but $20 for a video card was too hard not to look at.

yeah that card would be quite a downgrade actually.

A4670 radeon mightbe better than that. Definitely anything 48xx radeon you'll notice improvements.

4350 is newer technology, but way lower speeds.

4770 is cheap and good and im sure it would be the 7800 no problem. I'm also pretty confident a 4670 would beat a 7800 by quite a bit.

As long as you're not gaming it will do fine, $20 for a card that can send audio over HDMI and handle blu-ray is a good deal.
