Our Wii suddenly stopped working and upon further inspection there was a disc stuck inside. It is still under warranty so we gave it a shot and sent it in. My 2.5 year old daughter had crammed not one, not two, but three games into it. They replaced the disc drive and sent it back(with the games, you can learn here Miscrosoft) for a grand total of what it cost us to ship it to them. That was obviously not a warranty repair and they had no obligation to fix it for free but by doing so they have earned some major word of mouth advertising.

Not bad, but to be fair to M$ I have contacted them for warranty repair/replacement twice, once for a mouse and once for a webcam. They just asked for the serial number and I didn't even have to send them the faulty products, free replacements came in the post and it didn't cost me a penny.

DO NOT PURCHASE SAPPHIRE..... THEY SUCK AND WILL NOT HELP YOU IN ANY WAY.....
Glad to hear at least someone stands behind there product! Did they ask you for a processing fee, and did you have to pay for shipping? Sapphire does and they still shove it up your butt!

Nope, no processing fee just what it cost to ship to them.

Your situation is why I always recommend against going with Sapphire.

Gainward are pretty bad too, I thin at one time they were bought out and the new management refused to honour many of the previous warranties.

I was worried my Wii died after a odd power glitch, but it was just the outlet. Anyways, when in panic mode, I remembered a disk was inside the drive and I noticed that there isn't a "force eject" hole, most likely because the drive doesn't use a tray. So, if your Wii has an issue, the disk will be camping out for a while.

Glad to hear that if I did have to send the Wii in that at least I would get the disk back!

Seriously though, 3 disks were in that drive? Wow...

While we're being off-topic, Sapphire doesn't do direct support anyway, that's your own problem if you don't bother to read their warranty docs. You must obtain replacement through the place of purchase. Sapphire only does warranty through retailers.
