View Full Version : dual monitors
I have a radeon 7500 and it has dual monitor support so I tired it out. But I get the same image on both the monitors, is there a way to entend my desktop to fit two monitors or someting liek that cause watching the same thing on two monitors is pretty pointless.

yes there is, but i don't know how to. Try searching for it on the net. I think it's in the display settings, but im not sure.

I can't speak for ATI cards, but I have had a Matrox dual display card and an Nvidia dual display card and on both of them, it is real easy to "extend the windows desktop" across both of them.
Here is how you do it.
Right click on your desktop and scroll down and left click on PROPERTIES. Next, Click on the SETINGS Tab. Under the word "Display", there will be a drop down menu with your monitors numbered on it. It will say something like "1. Such and such Monitor on such and such video." Click the drop down arrow on the right and then scroll down to your second monitor and left click it. Now, place a check mark in the box below for "Extend me Windows desktop onto this monitor."
Click Apply, Click OK.
