I am buying a Video Card from:
http://www.computerboulevard.ca

I want to spend in the $200 CDN range (prices on the site are in CDN), and was thinking about the MSI GeForce 2 Ti Pro for $195.95... I want the video card to play games good, and well... other stuff a video card is suppsosed to do =)

What would you recommend from that list, in the $200CDN price range?

Thanks!

you could get a retail radeon 8500 on ebay for less than $200

or retail radeon 7500 for only $120...I bought my radeon 7500 for that much...

know if the bidder is legit though

Wow canadians really get the shaft when it comes to PC hardware prices. Computing is rather exspensive hobby for people in Canada.

I don't see a $199 Radeon 7500 on futureshop.ca

"ATI RADEON (7500) 3D / 64MB DDR / 4X AGP / DVI & TV OUT (RETAIL)" is $254.95 on that ComputerBoulevard dite...

I think that is what you are talking about?

What would anyone here recommend from that site then?

That site is overpriced. But the Ti you chose is the best deal.

Vancouver prices seem cheaper, i dont know if the shipping would make it equal.

What's the difference between the $195.95 one and the $212.95 one?

The later one has Video In and 4x AGP, and the first one doesn't have video in, and just says AGP, with no number before it...

I got my new Inno3D Tornado GeForce2 Titanium 64MB DDR AGP Retail (1000megapix) for $92US ($148CA) from Bunta.com - the shipping was a little slow, but it is a retail box with full warrenty. I don't know what import taxes do to the price in Canada, but it can't be that bad.
