Newegg Shipping from different places?

About a week ago I ordered this case and it came with a free mouse.

On newegg the mouse showed it shipped from CA, and the case from TN. I just checked the label on both and the mouse came from the rma warehose, I'm not too worried about that and I still haven't tested it yet cause I don't need it, but my case showed it came from CA.

Not a big deal but I'm just wandering why it say it shipped from TN but actually came from CA. UPS showed it coming from memphis, tn which is weird. Is newegg having some problems with shipping or what cause there seems to be other people having similar problems.

EDIT: just checked the box on the 4870 I ordered that came from NJ, and it shows CA also, I'm just wandering do all labels have the address from CA on them or what?

Yes, all the labels have the CA address regardless of origin.

That's what I thought, i never really checked until I saw one of my items came from the RMA warehouse so I was kinda suprised.

If Alex checks in here, drop this one in the suggestion box: When we are placing an order on Newegg, please have it show us which warehouse each item will be shipping from, so we can decide whether or not to upgrade the shipping.

That being said, I'd rather know so that I could downgrade shipping to normal Ground. Alot of the smaller stuff I've purchased have come from the NJ warehouse, and even standard UPS Ground, it makes it here the next day. Makes no sense paying for 3 Day, if Ground is just as fast.

New Jersey shipments get here next day. California ones take the full 3 days. If I order something on a Wednesday and it happens to ship from CA, I won't see the package till the following Monday, and sometimes I want to get stuff before the weekend :p

I just bought a logitech keyboard as a shellshocker deal. I got the box today and it says shipped from RMA warehouse

Maybe they want any undeliverable shipments returned to the RMA warehouse instead of all going back to the CA warehouse, although I can understand where many would think thier getting 2nd hand goods instead of brand spanking new by seeing the RMA warehouse as the return/ship from address.

The only reason it came into question was because he received a DOA item and it was shipped from the RMA warehouse which makes him think it was shipped used.

Thanks newegg support but this thread was a waste, I didn't really care about it being from the rma warehouse since it was a free mouse I still haven't bothered to try out, I was just a bit paranoid and wondered if everything had the CA address on it. But I do like ratbuddy's suggestion.
